Terms of service.

These Booking Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) form the basis of your contract with Europe Away Ltd, a UK-registered tour operator, referred to as “we”, “us”, or “our”. By booking with us, you agree to these Terms.
1. Your Contract
Your booking is made with Europe Away Ltd, Flat 3 3 Masey Mews, London, England, SW2 1DN, 16729396. The contract is formed once we issue you a written booking confirmation and receive your non-refundable deposit. The lead booker is responsible for ensuring all group members are aware of and agree to these Terms.
2. What’s Included
Your tour package includes:

3 match day tickets (1 premium ice hockey or basketball ticket + 2 terrace-style football tickets)
-
4 nights in a 4-star, centrally located hotel (based on 2 people sharing a room), with breakfast included
-
Private transfers throughout the tour or equivalent public transport ticket, as appropriate
-
A dedicated guide with your group throughout the weekend
-
City tour provided by a local guide
-
Brewery tour or pub crawl (alternatives available on request)
-
Additional local cultural activities (varies by location)
A full itinerary will be provided before departure.
3. What’s Not Included

Flights to/from the tour location
-
Travel insurance (mandatory — see section 8)
-
Meals and drinks not specified above
-
Personal expenses and discretionary spending
-
Energy, good humour, and team spirit (but we really hope you’ll bring these)
4. Payment Terms
-
A non-refundable deposit to the value of 20% of the total tour cost per person is due at the time of booking to secure your place.

The balance is due no later than 6 weeks before the tour start date.

If the balance is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain your deposit.

Payment can be made via all major credit or debit cards through our dedicated payment gateway which will be made available to you.
5. Cancellation by You
You may cancel your booking at any time by notifying us in writing. The following cancellation charges apply:

More than 6 weeks before tour: Loss of deposit

4 - 6 weeks before tour: 50% of total cost

Less than 4 weeks: 100% of total cost (no refund)
If you are unable to attend, we may allow a name transfer to another person, subject to availability and admin costs. Contact us as early as possible to discuss options.
6. Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right to cancel a tour if:

Minimum numbers are not met (we will notify you in advance)

Events outside our control prevent us from running the tour (see Force Majeure)

A supplier withdraws or can no longer deliver a key service
In these cases, you’ll be offered:
-
A full refund; or
-
An alternative tour of comparable value; or
-
A credit voucher towards a future trip
We are not responsible for any costs you incur outside the tour package, including flights.
7. Itinerary Changes
We may need to make reasonable changes to the advertised itinerary due to factors outside our control (e.g. match schedules, supplier changes, weather). Where a significant change is made, we will notify you as early as possible and provide alternatives.
Small substitutions (e.g. different venue, replacement activity) do not qualify as “significant”.
8. Travel Insurance
You must take out adequate travel insurance covering:

Medical expenses

Trip cancellation
-
Lost/stolen belongings
-
Personal liability
Proof of insurance may be requested prior to departure. You travel at your own risk without it, and we accept no liability for losses incurred due to lack of cover.
9. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for:

Arriving on time at the meeting point
-
Carrying valid travel documents (passport, visa if required)
-
Complying with local laws and customs
-
Conducting yourself respectfully with the group and locals

Letting us know about any medical conditions, allergies or access needs in advance
If your behaviour threatens safety, enjoyment, or smooth running of the tour, we reserve the right to remove you without refund.
10. Liability
We accept responsibility for providing the services described in your itinerary with reasonable skill and care. However, we are not liable for:

Events outside our control

Loss, injury, or damage caused by third-party providers

Delays or disruptions due to flight issues, strikes, weather, or border control
-
Any indirect or consequential loss
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the tour.
11. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: war, terrorism, natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, strikes, or severe weather.
In such events, we will offer alternative arrangements where possible, but refunds may be limited based on supplier policies.
12. Complaints
If you experience any issues during the tour, please inform your guide or contact us immediately. We will do our best to resolve things quickly.
If you're not satisfied, you must submit your complaint in writing to hello@europeaway.com within 14 days of the tour’s end. We aim to respond within 10 business days.
13. Use of Photos and Media
We often capture great moments on tour (with your permission). By joining the tour, you consent to us using images or videos for marketing purposes, unless you let us know in writing beforehand.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
